About Me
Pati is passionate about guiding individuals and families through their challenges toward a connected and fulfilling value-based life. She believes that with the right support and coping strategies, everyone can experience the joys of life and meaningful human connection. She employs a blend of evidence-based approaches to help her clients meet their goals.
With a deep curiosity about the human experience and its relation to social and structural systems, Pati prioritizes understanding and respecting the context of each person and family she works with. She creates a safe space for everyone to explore their experiences and coping mechanisms without judgment, helping them learn how to navigate even the most difficult feelings and cultivate the confidence to move forward in life despite challenges.
In addition to helping individuals with various mental health issues including depression, anxiety, OCD, and BFRB, Pati also supports early intervention for children's emotional development, equipping them with lifelong self-expression skills to navigate identity, relationships, and future challenges. She helps families create more functional home environments by enhancing communication, strengthening connections, and fostering mutual understanding of needs and boundaries.
Pati earned her Master's Degree in Social Welfare with a concentration in Health and Mental Health across the Life Span from UCLA, along with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UCLA. Pati is supervised by Danielle Jonas, LCSW (#115555).
